Our current model for publication is fairly basic, as we currently have no funding, and are not getting paid for this work, so cannot pay the author either. We are looking to change this in future, with applications for funding, so keep an eye out if the following model does not suit you but you would still like to publish with us.
Please note: we are not a vanity publishing house. Work published by us has to pass a certain level of quality, for one thing!
Please note that, for single author works, Allographic only publishes work by people from marginalised demographics, i.e. those still less well-represented in Britain. We have been publishing anthologies (poetry, short stories, essays, artwork, and photography) since 2011, and single writer collections (mostly poetry, with some long-form show publications and instruction books in the mix) since 2012, along with our first novel in 2026. We are happy to consider short story collections, novellas, and novels for publication, but please be aware that we have less experience in producing or marketing these. We’re very happy to learn with you, however, and all work would need to match the Allographic ethos of not kicking down (i.e. denigrating people of less power than the creator – punching up, however, i.e. speaking truth to power, is very welcome indeed!).

- Finished manuscript
- Any artwork you would like included on the front cover (or full cover design if you would like something more sophisticated/ personalised than what we provide)
- Any review quotes you would like included in the publication
- Cost payment for any print run that you choose to have produced
- 10 signed copies from the initial physical print run for Allographic to sell if appropriate
For ebooks
We provide

- Image description for photos, drawings, etc.

- Ebook and distribution (via Lulu to all major ebook distributors, or via the ebook distributor of your choice)
- Virtual launch of the publication via Zoom performance
- Basic social media and other marketing
- 60% of the profits from the ebook to you/ a charity of your choice
You provide
- Finished manuscript
- Any artwork you would like included on the front cover (or full cover design if you would like something more sophisticated/ personalised than what we provide)

For audiobooks
We provide
- simple editing and production (we can take out flubs and moderate background noise, and add in music, but we can’t soundscape with any particular nuance!)
- basic recording facilities if you don’t have access to them
- distribution (via Author’s Republic to all major audiobook platforms, Bandcamp, and/ or the audiobook distributor of your choice)
- ISBN and registration of production with Neilsen database
- 60% of profits from audiobook to you/ charity of your choice
- Basic social media and other marketing
- The finished tracks for you to use
- Handling any CD production run with our preferred supplier
You provide
- high quality recordings of the pieces identical in wording to the book
- Any artwork you would like included on the front cover (or full cover design if you would like something more sophisticated/ personalised than what we provide)
- Any review quotes you would like included in the publication
- Cost payment for any CD production run that you choose to have produced
- 10 copies from any CD production run for Allographic to sell if appropriate
